If for some reason you weren’t aware yet of the quantity ánd quality that Italian label Frontiers Records releases, maybe volume 5 of their sampler series Rock The Bones will convince you. 16 tracks from recent or upcoming albums, and not 1 bad song in sight. There you go…
Personal favourites include ‘New Religion’ (PRIMAL FEAR, feat. Simone Simons), ‘Master Of Sorrow’ (ALLEN/LANDE), Language Of Your Heart (PRIDE OF LIONS), Let Him Go (FREDERIKSEN/DENANDER) and Whither (CIRCUS MAXIMUS). There’s quite a bit of variation here, from AOR over bluesy hard rock to melodic metal. Something for everybody.
