English:

Earlier this year, Frontiers Records released Richie Kotzen’s first live album, “Live In Sao Paolo”. I rated this one very highly, so I was happy to learn that there was also a DVD coming out.
The tracklist on “Bootlegged In Brazil” is more or less the same as on the cd, so music-wise, this is a great DVD: excellent blues rock à la Frank Marino, MOUNTAIN and Jimi Hendrix. As for the picture: it’s clear where the title ‘bootlegged’ comes from. This is a very basic DVD, filmed with 3 or 4 cameras, I guess (which they didn’t seem to find enough space for to position well). The extra features are hardly worth mentioning.

So, if you haven’t got the CD yet, this DVD is definitely worth buying. If you have, I wouldn’t really bother, unless you’re a big fan, of course.

Nederlands:
